Growing up as an amputee in this world would not have been the same without the CHAMP Program. It has given me the confidence I need to approach the real world with a vision of success, and nothing but success.

The “Winner’s Circle” philosophy has given me the strength I need to boost my self-esteem. The legacy of “Amputees helping Amputees” is the most valuable concept in the CHAMP Program. I have a wonderful network of friends from the CHAMP Program that I can call or write to anytime to confide in, including the CHAMP Staff.

One of the key factors in the success of the Program is the incredible support system it has become for Champs across Canada. I have heard this message many times over the years as a Junior Counsellor at seminars and it makes me feel proud to promote the CHAMP Program. I feel very fortunate to live in this country and to be a part of such a program.
