Daily Living Aids Booklet Cover

There are many assistive devices and ideas to help amputees in their day-to-day lives. From personal care issues like taking a shower and getting dressed to more complex issues like learning to drive and finding a job, there are aids and resources to help you.

Licence to Drive Booklet Cover

Whether you are already a licenced driver who has recently become an amputee, or an amputee going for your driver's licence for the first time, the information here applies to you.

Licence to Drive answers the most frequently asked questions regarding amputation and driving in Canada, and provides lists of resources in all regions of the country.

Pain and Phantom Limbs Booklet Cover

Phantom limb pain has been around as long as there have been amputees. Much research has been done on why phantom limb pain continues to be felt by some amputees for years.

The techniques for alleviating phantom limb pain covered in the Pain and Phantom Limbs Booklet have been gathered from many sources and some are anecdotal. Our aim is only to provide information on the many techniques available.
