ASTAR is a gold child-like robot. He plays a prominent role as the PLAYSAFE safety symbol. When ASTAR talks . . . kids listen!

ASTAR helps members of the CHAMP Program get the PLAYSAFE message out to youngsters of all ages. He accompanies the Champs on parade floats and appears in PLAYSAFE videos and public service announcements.

ASTAR's radar helps him detect the dangers in play environments. He heightens awareness of some of these dangers and reminds children: "Spot the danger before you play!"
