If Ye Break Faith Video Jacket CoverIf Ye Break Faith examines the death and destruction during the First World War, from 1914 to 1918.

Narrated by Cliff Chadderton, If Ye Break Faith features authentic film footage from the devastating battles of Ypres, the Somme, Vimy, and Passchendaele.

Members of The War Amps who survived the First World War talk about their experiences in a war that cost the lives of more than 10 million servicemen, including 60,000 Canadians.

The title of this documentary is an excerpt from the poem "In Flanders Fields," written by Canadian Medical Officer John McCrae while he served overseas.

If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

These words are a reminder that the world must no longer ignore the cries of those who died in the "war to end all wars."
