Multiple Amputees
Mono-Skis, Bi-Skis and Sit Skis
- a Mono- or Bi-Ski allows an individual who cannot use traditional skis to come down the slopes in a seated position. For children there are Sit Ski sleds which have a tether rope and are guided by another person.
Snowboards
- snowboards can be adapted to the needs of those with high bilateral amputations. A bucket-like socket designed for the amputee to sit in can be attached directly to the snowboard.
