Resources
The War Amps develops many counselling resources for members of the CHAMP Program, some of which are shown here.
CHAMP Newsletter
The CHAMP Newsletter, an informal, friendly publication for all CHAMP families contains information on amputation, artificial limbs, War Amps programs and projects as well as the Champs’ individual stories. The Newsletters fulfill an important need in keeping our CHAMP "family" in contact and informed.
Starting School Kit

Parents often have questions on how to prepare for their children's entry into school.
At the beginning of a school year, using the Starting School Kit can help reduce the questions and staring experienced by some Champs. The Starting School Kit gives the parents of child amputees tips and guidelines on giving a presentation about amputation.
"The involvement of the Champ in the presentation develops
self-confidence, self-esteem and acceptance, while at the
same time, educating peers."
Champ Mom
Taylor Books Young Champs have their own series of story books featuring Taylor, an amputee turtle and his friends.
