André Michaud

André Michaud, of Quebec City, was born on September 9, 1920, and served as a Sergeant with the Fusiliers Mont-Royal. He was wounded in the Battle of Dieppe in 1942, resulting in the loss of his arm.

When Mr. Michaud returned to Canada, he joined The War Amps and held the position of President of the Montreal Branch for many years. He attended numerous CHAMP seminars throughout his life, sharing his knowledge and positive outlook with child amputees and their families. He received the Honorary CHAMP Membership from The War Amps for his service.

Mr. Michaud passed away on February 11, 2012.
