We hope you are doing well and remain safe and healthy.
The War Amps is continuing to follow developments and directives regarding the current COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) outbreak. Our offices are closed until further notice; however, we remain committed to serving amputees and the public remotely during this time. If you are looking to contact us for any reason, we encourage the use of email, if at all possible.
In addition to maintaining our regular services, please also be assured that our work of advocating for veterans and all amputees across Canada will continue to move forward.
Our 2020 key tag mailing has been temporarily paused. Donations can continue to be made online, by mail or by calling 1 800 250-3030.
Amputees who require assistance can be assured we remain available to help with your needs related to living with amputation, advocacy, and veterans issues. We encourage you to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Many of our information resources can be accessed directly from our website as well.
If you have a question about an upcoming CHAMP Seminar, please feel free to reach out to us at email@example.com.
For questions about a PLAYSAFE event such as a parade or presentation, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Future events are being assessed, and we are communicating with any confirmed participants to keep them informed of changes or cancellations. Updates regarding specific seminars and parades will also be posted to CHAMP Online as they become available.
For Prosthetic Centres
As collaborators in prosthetic care, we know how important it is that amputees continue to have their health-care needs met. We ask that you submit any requests (i.e., estimates, invoices and supporting documents) via email, instead of by mail or fax.
Please send funding requests and questions to email@example.com. Please direct all invoices to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will continue to provide timely updates as the situation progresses. Please know that we remain available to serve you now, as always.
