ESKIMOS TEAM UP WITH WAR AMPS “CHAMP” TO PASS ON SAFETY MESSAGE

July 20, 2016 – Having lost his right foot in a lawn mower accident, six-year-old Cooper Tidmarsh, of Lethbridge, is well qualified to alert other children about the importance of playing safely. As the 2016 National Safety Ambassador for The War Amps, Cooper will be joining Edmonton Eskimos players Kicker Grant Shaw (#11) and Long-Snapper Ryan King (#53), to film a new War Amps PLAYSAFE™ public service announcement.

Media are welcome to attend the filming.

When: Friday, July 22 – 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium, Edmonton
