WAR AMPS ADVISES PUBLIC OF FRAUDULENT PHONE SOLICITATION
February 23, 2018 – The War Amps has received reports of the public being contacted by phone and asked for a donation to mark its 100th anniversary. The Association would like to remind the public that it does not solicit in any manner by phone or door-to-door, and that such calls are not legitimate. Anyone receiving a call of this kind is asked to advise The War Amps at 1 800 250-3030.
